CD - ...Face the Mountain

Two well-known session players complete Molly's trio on this CD: .Peter Chwazik on guitar and electric and acoustic bass and Al Hartland on drums.

"Her music reminded me of why I started writing music myself, that being the sheer joy of personal expression...You hear bits of Methany, Bill Evans, Jobim, even Wayne Shorter on her jazz tunes, while Carol King and Laura Nyro come to mind on the more pop-influenced material....When you listen to this collection ... may you be as moved and inspired (and as joyful!) as I was."
- Peter Eldridge, New York Voices

"You like melody? You like cool stand-up bass and brushes on drums? You'll love 'Face The Mountain.' "
- Bryan VanCampen

CD - ....Happy Our

Molly teams up with tenor sax ace John Slate and bassist Peter Chwazik for a CD of beautiful jazz standards including "There Will Never Be Another You", "When You Wish Upon a Star", "Stella by Starlight", and "Blue Monk".

"(John Slate and Molly MacMillan) are extremely agile players. MacMillan is able to play inventive melodies while either comping or walking with her left hand (do I hear a hint of Tristano?), while Slate has a nice gruff tone and likes to uncork some fun double time passages. Their vigor and facility with their instruments are showcased well, owing largely to the highly empathetic playing that has come with years of duo work." - Cadence Magazine vol.27-no.2 Feb 2001
